having gained its popularity due to its ability
to be integrated on most operating systems and platforms
at no cost, is significantly used at Axsys. The
developers use this scripting language for independent
web development as well as for embedding it into

the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS),
SQL Server, for the purpose of database management.
SQL Server Version 8.0 released in 2000 (a.k.a.
SQL Server 2000) and Version 9.0
released in 2005 (a.k.a. SQL Server 2005)

Sharepoint finds its place in the Web2.0
era when the emphasis on web collaboration is at
its peak. Through the use of Microsoft Sharepoint,
the developers of Axsys attempt to achieve web collaboration
and provide a document management platform. Microsoft
Sharepoint is used for web hosting and
incorporation of collaborative tools like wikis,
blogs, etc. |
