| St. Paul’s Church website to be further enhanced |
Axsys Technologies Limited undertook to cater to St. Paul’s Church’s requirement for a low resolution website and a new logo for the website. The existing high resolution website of St. Paul’s Church has also been designed and developed by Axsys, and these additions are meant to be enhancements for the site.
The low resolution version of the St. Paul’s Church website will be developed for visitors who use a low bandwidth to access the site. The motive is to set up a website version that is lighter, and thereby, faster to load. This is to be achieved by keeping the images minimum, and reducing HTML and CSS. Visitors to the website will be asked to select between high and low bandwidths in order to conveniently use the site.
The creative team at Axsys will also be designing the logo for the St. Paul’s Church website. The logo will be conceptualized and created after evaluating the theme of the St. Paul’s Catholic Church as well as its website.
Axsys Technologies hopes to be able to continue to assist in enhancing the website, and, in turn, strengthen their association with the client.

| Greenfield to get new dynamic website |
With Greenfield dynamic website, Axsys Technologies is all set to take yet another step in the real estate arena. The work on this fully functional website was taken on through the intervention of NK Realtors, a renowned client of Axsys Technologies.
Greenfield, also known as, Bengal Greenfield Housing Development Company, is a joint sector company with West Bengal Housing Board. The Greenfield Group is a preeminent organization with vast experience in real estate activities in Gurgaon, New Town Kolkata and other areas.
The Axsys team will be designing as well as developing the proposed website for Greenfield. The dynamic website will be driven by a Content Management System and an Admin control panel. This segment will facilitate the management of textual and pictorial content on the website. It will also help in managing the menu and other backend features of the website. The site will have functionalities like property price calculator, EMI calculator, opt-in email newsletter, image gallery and a counter showing hits on the site. Axsys is also responsible for the hosting of the site.

The UI designers of Axsys Technologies played a vital role in launch of the new website of Madurah Psychological Services. The site has been aimed at creating a web identity for the private practice firm and provides details relevant to the firm and its services.
Mandurah Psychological Services Pty Ltd, established in 2008, is based in Mandurah, Western Australia and offers psychological care to all of Western Australia as well as Perth Metropolitan, Peel and South West Regions. Julie-Anne Davies, the Principal Psychologist of Mandurah Psychological Services is a member of the Psychologists Board of Western Australia, Australia and New Zealand Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abuse (ANZATSA) and Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology & Law (ANZAPPL).
The firm’s site is a static one. It has features like integration of Google Maps, Print options and SEO-friendly coding. The work on the site was extremely simple for the skilled web team of Axsys. | Axsys to provide Flash-based Design Tool for STEP WarmfloorTM |
The Self-regulating Technology of Electro Plastics (STEP) requires a web-based design tool for STEP Warmfloor™, a unique radiant heating system. Axsys Technologies will be developing the design tool, for the STEP, using Flash environment. The tool and its appendages will be programmed in the .Net Framework.
STEP Warmfloor™ offers the ultimate in radiant floor heat. This innovative, energy-efficient, patented electro plastics element is distinctly different from hydronic (water tubing) and cable systems. STEP Warmfloor™ gives a comfortable, even heat and is the only low-voltage, self-regulating system available. The product was developed in 1981 and has been used for over 25 years worldwide.
The current method for the quotation process requires the customer to download a form, fill in relevant details, create a sketch of the proposed area for which the heating solution is required, and email, mail or fax the same to the distributor or company representative. The distributor/representative gets back to the customer with a quote for the solution.
The proposed Flash Design Tool will allow two different levels of operation – the user level and the Admin level. The user will be able to register to the website, create a profile, fill in some relevant information in an online form, use the web-based tool to create a room floor-plan design, and submit it to the Admin. The user can also directly upload designs in the PDF, JPG and DWG formats. The Admin, on receiving the request for quote, along with the design, will forward it to the concerned people and get them to prepare the quote. Once the quote is ready, the Admin will upload the same to the user’s profile and complete the quotation process.
The proposed Design tool is aimed at introducing a good deal of automation to the process involved in providing quotation to prospective customers. |

| IIF website to undergo makeover in the hands of Axsys |
The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) has engaged Axsys for revamping their website that is currently located at www.indianfoundry.com. The existing website has reached the end of its shelf life and is in dire need of an upgrade, both in terms of look and functionality. The remodeled site will be aimed at suiting the current business extent and needs of IIF.
Set up in 1950 and registered as a society in West Bengal under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, IIF had modest beginnings. Today, it has an enviable national spread of four regional branches and twenty seven chapters. Its current membership numbers over 3200 inclusive of Fellows, Members, Life Members, and Company Members etc.
The refurbished website will be web 2.0 site with a contemporary look and updated features that include the likes of membership and login, message board, discussion forum, news, online library that highlights latest additions, web forms, and so on and so forth. As is evident, the website will contain dynamic content and will hence, be managed through a Content Management System. The website and the CMS Admin Control Panel will be built using the PHP platform.

Axsys Technologies will be designing and developing a robust real estate portal for NK Realtors. The website will a dynamic one and will be built using technologies like PHP, MySQL, AJAX, HTML and CSS. The proposed site will be fully functional and will help NK Realtors use it as a platform to promote the company and its projects.
NK Realtors, a Kolkata-based Real Estate Company, saw its genesis in 1987. It is a progressive and dynamic establishment, and is one of the largest vertically integrated real estate services in India. Apart from its headquarters in Kolkata, it has network offices in Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Punjab.
The Axsys web team will be responsible for the design and development of the site. The envisaged website will be created using web 2.0 compliant design. The site will be equipped with advanced search capabilities that will enable site visitors to search for properties of NK Realtors. The integration of the Google Maps API will further enhance the search functionality. The re-branding initiative of Techno India took off with full gusto, as the Group launched its Academic and Corporate websites. The resources at Axsys Technologies Limited, through sheer hard work, made it possible to complete the two sites and make it live in a very short span of time. Both the sites can be accessed via the main site located at www.technoindiagroup.com. The sites serve to promote the two most important wings of the Group. The launch of the sites endows the online identity of the Techno India Group with a fresh face and renewed functionalities.
The Academic site is a complete repository for all information related to the academic pursuits of the Group. The site is equipped with photo gallery, online application form, webmail integration, and provision for downloading courses prospectus, besides several other features. Work on enhancements like a video gallery, and news and events segment are already well underway and will soon be available live.
The Corporate site, like its Academic counterpart, is a resource from where visitors can get information pertaining to the corporate activities of Techno India Group. The site has important features like image gallery, online job application form, webmail integration and a news and events section.

| Axsys to develop St. Paul's Church website |
Axsys Technologies is all geared up to develop a dynamic PHP website for St. Paul’s Church. The website will be modeled on a website Axsys had previously created for the Constantia Catholic Church. However, the St. Paul’s Church website will have more features than its Constantia counterpart.
The developers of Axsys will be employing Joomla, an open source PHP-based content management system, to enable dynamic content on the website. The site will include an event’s calendar that can be updated through an administrator panel. The church website will even facilitate users to send digital postcards. Users will be able to register on the website and add their business details to the business directory on the site so that their businesses become easily accessible for visitors looking for relevant information. The website will also incorporate an image gallery.
St. Paul’s Church is located in the town of Somerset West and is set right in the middle of the famous winelands of the town. Axsys hopes to be able to do justice to the objective of the church in the creation of the website. |

| Axsys to play pivotal role in re-creating the online as well as offline identity of Techno India Group |
Techno India Group, a.k.a. TIG, one of the premier business houses with a focus on education, has designated Axsys Technologies with the task of re-establishing the brand of the Group. The revamp of the brochure and the main websites of the Group are the means of initiating the process. The work on the other associated sites and microsites will follow soonafter.
The project has been conceptualized as a long-term project and it will kick-start with the creation of three primary websites of Techno India Group, viz. the Corporate website, the Academic website and the Techno Global University website. Individual websites for each of the schools and colleges of TIG are also being envisioned. The sites will not only serve as resourceful platforms but will also be fully-functional user-friendly websites. Furthermore, the Techno India Group brochure will also be undergoing a makeover to present a fresh approach to the TIG identity.

| The GUI team of Axsys is making impressive headway with their creations |
The squad of graphic designers at Axsys Technologies is leaving no stone unturned to prove to be a class apart. It is utilizing the creativity and skills of each designer to present the clients with out-of-the-box concepts and creatives.
The 3-D specialists have won accolades for their latest creation of an elf character. The 3-D character of the elf was completely conceptualized, designed, modeled, textured, rigged and morphed with expressions by the designer pros at Axsys. The client was overwhelmed by the resultant character and, to the delight of the team, was all praises for the designers.
The GUI unit had been recently involved in helping an Asian Software company, dedicated to the creation of original software products, in product branding through the creation of logo, product landing and splash pages and avatars. The customer was so enthralled that she awarded the team with a new project that involves the re-designing of a fact sheet, and she wishes to bank on the designing expertise of Axsys in future too.
Besides basking in the glory of their success, the designers have pulled up their socks for more work, which are flowing in as a result of their high quality output. The group is raring to go! |

| T-Shirt Editor application to be developed by Axsys |
A software company has resourced Axsys for creating a T-Shirt Editor application using ActionScript 2.0. Besides ActionScript, the developers will also use JavaScript, XML and PHP to equip the application with all the required functionalities. MySQL will be used as the database for the application.
The T-Shirt Editor application will present various types of t-shirts in solid colors and will allow users to edit a t-shirt’s color, add image, add text and create customized t-shirt designs. Registered users can save these designs, and load the same and even edit it further at any point of time. They can also ask for quotes for buying the tees or even place orders for them. The application will be integrated with a shopping cart facility to make online purchases possible.

| Axsys to redesign website and templates for Joomla-templates provider |
Axsys Technologies has been endowed with the task of revamping the look of Joomsnap.Com, a website offering pre-optimized Joomla templates. The website in question has also been created using Joomla, a PHP-based open source CMS.
The UI designers of Axsys will put on their thinking caps to plan a fresh appearance for Joomsnap.Com. The design must not only be appealing but must also incorporate web 2.0 banners and must assist in enhancing the selling proposition of the site. Axsys will also be creating a logo for the site in order to brand the site as a resource for Joomla templates.
Additionally, the designers will redesign five Joomla templates that are being offered on Joomsnap.Com and will implement the restyled templates on their respective demo sites. The implementation of the new look of Joomsnap.Com and the five templates will be done through Joomla CMS.

These templates will be interactive flash-based
portfolio templates. The users can use the template
to upload images and various personal information
and links to showcase in his/her portfolio.
Users can create, edit and manage their Flash-based
portfolios through an easy-to-use CMS (Content
Management System) without having any knowledge
of Flash. This three-tier Portfolio builder will
be developed in PHP with MySQL as the database.

Business English Pod, a provider of ESL (English

The Axsys personnel are developing these quizzes
with the help of software that is new to them.
They have taken this up as a challenge and are
faring really well. The client is happy with the
output and feels they are doing a good job. The
quizzes are score-based and incorporate multimedia
elements like text, images and audio.
Despite the fact that the quizzes are being developed
using software that produces a unique file format,
the final quizzes will be delivered in Flash in
order to aid universal accessibility.

Organizer to be built by Axsys using .Net |
Axsys Technologies
Limited has been awarded a project for building
a personal organizer – SIMRY Personal. The client
had given Axsys the liberty to choose the most appropriate
platform to develop the application and development
team has opted for the .Net framework. AJAX and
other Java apps will be used for the interface.
SIMRY Personal will be a scaleable application that
will presently have Mail, Contacts, Calendar and
Notes as its primary segment. Keep the scalability
factor in mind, GUI will be template-based to facilitate
the integration of additional applications and plug-ins
at a later stage.
The application to be developed will be integrated
with another portal that the client owns. To further
simplify working, the Admin module of the application
will be integrated with the Admin module of the
existing portal thereby enabling centralized control
over the systems.
Despite the deadline being set for New Year’s Day,
the Technical Head predicts a festive season delay
towards the end of December and aims to complete
the project before the season commences. Such foresightedness
is highly commendable. |
